Met Christian Police Association at The Metropolitan Police
The Metropolitan Police Christian Police Association (London Christian Police Family) is a branch of the National Christian Police Association, which was set up in 1883
We are here to encourage and support Christians in the Metropolitan Police service to be able to serve with our faith as our foundation and we work closely with the senior management board to support the aims and values of the MPS.
We support all colleagues regardless of faith and build bridges between the Christian Community and the police.
Our values are based on biblical principles of integrity, excellence, truth and the love of Jesus Christ.
Our aim is to have an ambassador in every building and borough and to have local SPOCs for pastoral/welfare issues
Engage with local churches, enable discussion on relevant issues and garner support for the police.
To be a light to all who we come into contact with and to practically show the love of Christ through our actions.
