In 2019 we are setting up a wellbeing champions network globally across Capita – these alongside our Mental Health First Aiders are volunteers and nominees and operate in many areas across Capita. Training that focusses on wellbeing is now mandatory across our staff and managers. We also have an Employee Assistance Programme open to everybody in Capita, and we have a wellbeing hub online, which is a resource library of training, tools, apps, guides, videos and information across many aspects of wellbeing (physical, emotional and financial.
Our management teams are taught to create an open and inclusive workplace for all staff members, where they feel they can be open and honest about how they’re feeling. We aim to make as much support as possible available to those that need assistance, and as a people centred business, we want to create a workplace where everyone feels they can be themselves without fear or judgement.
