Our Wellbeing Programme provides simple access to a wide variety of resources to improve and maintain physical health, emotional resilience, financial wellbeing and social connectedness including:

  • Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential counselling and support
  • Mental Health Pathway and onsite counselling– triage to most appropriate mental health treatment
  • Mental Health First Aiders – employees across the business trained to listen empathetically and signpost to support when needed
  • Employee Training and Events – education around resilience and mental wellbeing awareness
  • Mandatory Manager Online Training – self-care around personal wellbeing and when to signpost team members to support
  • Tea & Talks – informal group conversations facilitated by a Mental Health First Aider
  • Personal Resilience App – with tailored content to support personal development

The City Mental Health Alliance has awarded BNY Mellon with the accreditation mark of ‘Excelling’ in its annual Thriving at Work assessment.

The CMHA’s Thriving at Work assessment helps organisations to measure their progress as they work to build mentally healthy workplaces. It is based on the evidence-based standards set out in the CMHA’s Thriving at Work Guide for organisations to work towards in developing their mental health and wellbeing strategies. This year, the Standards were updated to introduce the integration of mental health across the employee lifecycle, driving best practice across the ecosystem, for example through supplier engagement and a stronger focus on inclusion and diversity.
