We talk to colleagues about mental health issues on a regular basis. We want to educate everyone about mental health issues and the importance of recognising and dealing with the signs of stress. Our senior leaders actively support campaigns such as Time to Talk Day and Mental Health Week to encourage all our people to have open conversations about their own mental health and wellbeing.
As well as this, colleagues have access to:
A variety of wellbeing resources through an online portal;
Advice and guidance through our Employee Assistance programme;
Occupational health support when it’s needed;
Workshops for managers to help them spot the signs of mental health issues in the workplace and understand how they may be able to support their teams;
A growing Mental Health First Aider programme where representatives from across the business have been specially trained to provide proactive support to colleagues in need.
