Menopause Support at Teneo

At Teneo, we are committed to supporting all employees experiencing peri-menopausal (the period leading up to menopause) and menopausal symptoms and helping colleagues and Talent Managers/Coaches understand how they can support employees experiencing such symptoms. We want to ensure that menopause is recognised as a natural stage, that we normalise conversations about menopause, and employees at Teneo feel confident to ask for, and access, the support that they need so they can continue to flourish at work.

Our Menopause Support Policy offers practical and emotional support based on individual symptoms and how these may be impacting their life. We provide practical support through reasonable adjustments at work, access to specialist menopause trained GPs through the BUPA Menopause Plan and emotional support through access to internal and external sources. 

We also have a team of Menopause Champions.  Menopause Champions  are specially trained in supporting individuals through menopause and peri-menopause, you can reach out to a specific Champion. Menopause Champions are also available to advise/support those of any gender whose loved one may be experiencing menopausal or peri-menopausal symptoms.

It’s essential that we start to erode the stigma around the menopause by sparking conversations on a topic that has largely been undiscussed.  By having these conversations, and with the support of policies like Teneo’s, it helps to raise awareness and prepare women, and their families, for what’s ahead.  To know that the support is there, and to feel confident accessing it, can make all the difference and help women to continue to flourish at work."
