LGBT+ Network at DCMS

The DCMS LGBT+ network is there to support and connect staff in DCMS who are in sexual or gender-identity minority, whether you are bi, asexual, trans, agender, unsure or otherwise. It’s also there for allies and anyone else who takes an interest in what goes on in the department in this capacity – anyone is welcome!

Broadly the network aims to point you in the right direction if you have any concerns pertaining to your sexuality or gender identity, including bullying and harassment, in parallel to or as an alternative to HR and your line management chain.

We also represent the department at a cross government level with the Civil Service Rainbow Alliance (CSRA, who deal with sexual identity related matters), a:gender (who deal with gender identity related matters) and work with HR on initiatives like the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
