LGBT Network and Allies Groups at Capita

Our LGBTQ+ network, the Rainbow Alliance, has chapters across multiple sites in Capita. Our Executive Sponsor, who will be responsible for all strands of diversity across the business, will be part of the launch of a central support structure and programme to encourage more employee networks – Rainbow Alliance and our allies programme will be key to this. We will be celebrating a week of Pride in July and will be featuring role model stories from across the LGBTQ+ community and allies as well.

11th October is National Coming Out Day, a day founded to raise awareness of civil rights for the LGBTQ+ community. Founded in the US in 1988, it’s also observed in Ireland, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UK. To celebrate, we’ve asked employees from around the business to share their coming out experiences with us, you can read their stories here.
