LGBT Initiatives at DWF
DWF’s OutFront LGBT networking group creates a supportive workplace for its people and helps to raise the profile of the firm’s diversity agenda. In addition, the firm has implemented LGBT Confidential, a private helpline that offers DWF colleagues support and confidence to come out at work.
In early 2017, for the second consecutive year DWF were named in Stonewall’s Top 100 employers list 2017 which showcases the most diverse and inclusive employers in Britain for lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) employees. DWF is again one of the highest performing law firms to make the top 100 and moved up 20 places on the list to 36th place.
We also support Women out at Work (WOW) which is a networking group covering businesses in the North West. There are plans to extend this group into the Midlands and beyond.
