Hindu Association at The Metropolitan Police

Our aim is to:

Provide assistance to the Met and our members and our communities.
Enhance understanding of the Hindu faith, culture and customs within the Met members and upholding the spirit of Hinduism.
Provide assistance to the Met, Mayor of London Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and our members through dialogue, representation, mentoring, welfare and support.
Improving relations & confidence between the Met, MOPAC and the Hindu Community, addressing any concerns.
Taking an active part in policy development, working closely on police projects, policies and strategies.
To work with the Hindu Community to improve recruitment into the Met.
To improve the retention and progression of Hindu Personnel within the Met and MOPAC.
To provide a social network for all Members of the MPHA through the provision of social and charitable events.
To encourage Hindu Police Personnel to join the MPHA.
