Employee Assistance Programme
This free, confidential and impartial support is available for all staff. There’s a lot on offer, which you can see below. Also on offer is access to a Health Risk Assessment which allows you to assess different aspects of your life which contribute to your own health and wellbeing. Some of the things we offer are:

What’s more, we have a range of health and wellbeing benefits, from our cycletowork scheme to a variety of discount schemes; we can help you to keep fit and stay healthy.
And we even provide fitness funding to help finance new and existing sports clubs and fitness sessions at any of our office locations.
Mental Health Pledge
Last year we signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge - a commitment to change the way we think and act about mental health at every level of our UK & Europe business. We pledge to help break down the stigma around mental health by keeping the conversation going and guiding behaviours across all levels of our business as part of caring for the people who work for us.
Mental Health First Aider programme
In 2017 we were proud to kick off a pilot programme of Mental Health First Aiders in our Energy and Transportation businesses. We joined up with the mental health charity Mind to train 50 volunteers to spot the symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial help and guide people towards support. We’ve been overwhelmed with support for the programme and are now extending the programme to a further 50 volunteers to expand our network across all our offices and businesses in the UK.
Global Corporate Challenge
All employees are offered a place in the Virgin Pulse Global Challenge. The Global Challenge is the ticket to a healthier mind and body. Employees join over 350,000 people from around the world on a 100-day virtual journey that kicks off in May. Employees sign up in teams of seven to keep them company along the way. Once they’ve signed up their dream team, they each receive an activity tracker to measure their activity. Every step they take will take them and their team further on their virtual journey around the world.
