What does this mean for me?
FlexWay means different things to different people, as it depends on the business requirements of each team and directorate.
Colleagues are expected to understand and are trusted to know when they are required to be in the business and what they need to achieve in order to ensure business needs are met. We support you in working flexibly around these obligations.
How does FlexWay work?
FlexWay is not intended to change your working pattern on a regular basis rather it is a means by which you can manage your working time alongside other commitments. As with any way of working customer and business needs must come first and your working pattern is agreed between you and your line manager.
The idea of FlexWay is to allow you to have flexibility with your working day, and support you in balancing your work and home life. Teams will arrange flexible working with their managers to ensure we provide a consistent service to our customers and the business.
