Family Network at Morgan Stanley

The Firm's Family Networks provide support, resources, educational and networking opportunities to working parents, families and caregivers. Focusing on a broad range of topics such as elder care, adoption, work-life integration and stress management, the network strives to:

  • Provide learning and development opportunities tailored to working parents and other employees with family responsibilities.
  • Develop informal networking and support mechanisms for expectant or returning mothers, working parents and others.
  • Foster an environment that encourages people with family responsibilities to choose Morgan Stanley as an employer of choice.
  • Engage in shaping Firm policy to fully support and encourage family life and the ability to manage family responsibilities as Morgan Stanley employees.

Wednesday 21st March 2018 – “The Battle for Balance and How to Win It – Event with Caroline Flanagan” (Internal Event)

Caroline Flanagan is an ex-City finance lawyer who became a Coach and Speaker on a mission to help those who want to have and enjoy it all.

Thursday 30th November 2017 – “When Should I Be Worried? - Portland Hospital Paediatric Session” (internal event)

An interaction session with a Consultant Paediatrician at The Portland Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital focusing on how to spot early warning signs of a wide range of topics from diet and sleep, through to behaviours and child development.

Wednesday 22nd November 2017 – “Nanny Matters Session” (internal event)

An interactive workshop with the Director of Nanny Matters focusing on nannying and childcare services and the intricacies these services can potentially involve. Nanny Matters have provided professional payroll services and tax advice for parents employing a nanny since 2002.
