Disability Support (Mental) at NICE
NICE is a ‘Time to Change’ employer, meaning that we have pledged our commitment and willingness to change thinking about mental health in the workplace and make sure that employees feel supported.
We have 70 trained Mental Health First Aiders who are trained to listen non-judgmentally and can signpost staff to the appropriate support.
Our Employee Assistance Programme (PAM Assist) offers free, confidential 24-hour support and access to qualified counsellors. They also provide a range of services to assist with the following:
- Family and relationships. Including parental advice, LGBT, childcare
- Bereavement and coping with a loss
- Managing change
- Money advice service
- Legal advice including neighbour disputes, tenancy, or landlord issues
- Information and support for domestic violence and abuse
