Disability Initiatives at the Financial Conduct Authority
We are committed to ensuring that nobody at the FCA feels restricted because of their physical or mental health. We work closely with our healthcare providers and External Assistance Providers to equip colleagues with the support and tools perform at their best. We have a number of initiatives to provide support people for affected physical wellbeing issues:
We are a member of the Disability Confident Scheme that encourages applications from the disabled community.
Our disability network group, Embrace, play key role in raising awareness of disability throughout the FCA, working to raise accessibility issues on the organisational agenda and supporting staff with related issues.
We are also corporate members of Purple Space and the Business Forum on Disability.
Our new offices at 12 Endeavour Square, Stratford, have been designed to be a high quality, inclusive and accessible building. We have worked with the developers and our architects to eliminate barriers for all FCA employees and guests, resulting in a building and work environment which is fit for purpose, modern, accessible and inclusive.
