Support our wider diversity and inclusion work
Improve how we attract, recruit and retain disabled workers
Challenge attitudes towards disability, increase understanding, remove barriers and ensure people with disabilities have opportunity to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
Actions we are taking to be Disability Confident Committed:
Global Diversity Practice are reviewing our recruitment processes through a diversity and inclusion lens. A strategy to make any identified improvements will be made in August and we will look towards having all the recommended changes fully implemented by June 2021. This will include offering interviews to disabled candidates that meet the minimum criteria for a vacancy.*
We have signed up with Vercida which will be used to advertise all future roles that we recruit externally for. Vercida will help us: ○ Increase job applications from a more diverse workforce including people with disabilities ○ Make our job adverts more accessible for people with disabilities to apply for roles ○ Understand how we’re viewed in the job market with D&I progress reports
We’ll continue to provide reasonable adjustments to those who need them.
We will support any employee who acquires a disability of long-term health condition to help them stay in work.
