Disability at Network Rail

Network Rail has agreed to transfer from the Positive about Disability ‘Two Ticks’ scheme to the new Disability Confident scheme.

Network Rail achieved Level 3 Status in September 2017.  By becoming a Disability Confident leader, we gained recognition among peers organisations. We act as a champion within our local and business community, our supply chain and our networks. We aim to show disabled people that we are serious about leading the way and about helping other businesses to become Disability Confident.

To achieve Level 3 we were assessed independently by disabled people from outside Network Rail through demonstrating that we are leading the way with how we recruit, retain and develop our current and future disabled employees. We actively encourage our stakeholders and local businesses to start their Disability Confident journey.
