Corporate Black Worker’s Support Group at Birmingham City Council

Birmingham City Council’s Corporate Black Worker’s Support group is a group of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic employees who want to make a difference to the working lives of staff in the council. We help to empower, support and promote self-development of the council’s Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic workers.

We also help support the council’s objective of promoting equality and diversity, and challenging discrimination. We aim to make a positive contribution to improving services for the communities we serve, for the employees who deliver them, and in the development of council policies that impact on Black Asian, Minority Ethnic employees.
