Community Investment Fund at SSE

As well as ensuring our people are treated fairly, we are committed to providing a substantial amount of revenue to Community Investment Funds. Since 2008 SSE’s Renewable business has contributed more than £23 million in Community Funding across thousands of community projects. These include centres for local people with life-limiting illnesses in rural areas, the extension of a nature reserve in Lincolnshire, a play park for children with additional needs and various other charity, volunteer and community projects.
