Summer Diversity Internships: We are part of civil service Summer Diversity Internship: https://www.faststream.gov.uk/summer-diversity-internship-programme/

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Ambassadors

Schools Outreach Programme: We want BEIS to represent the wider society we serve, to reach better levels of BME representation in the Senior Civil Service, and to draw talent from a broader range of socio-economic backgrounds. To do this, we need to encourage people from all sections of society to join us. The Schools Outreach Programme aims to encourage students from a diverse range of backgrounds to consider a career in BEIS. This includes sustainable outreach programmes foro BEIS colleagues to visit schools, provide training and material to deliver workshops and speak to students.

Bite-sized Mentoring: Created by the Women’s Network, bite-sized mentoring fills a different requirement to the traditional, longer-term mentoring relationship, they provide the space to explore a single issue in-depth with an experienced mentor.
