BAME Network at Cambridge Assessment

The BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic)  is open to anyone in Cambridge Assessment interested in engaging in thoughtful, open discussions on what diversity at Cambridge Assessment means within the BAME context.

What are the main objectives of the network?

To have open discussions, provide professional support and create awareness in some key areas.

Create a safe space for all employees to engage in thoughtful open discussions on what inclusion means at Cambridge Assessment

Work with HR to analyse, review and interrogate current diversity and equality policies and provisions to make them suitable for our audience

Promote internally and externally that Cambridge Assessment champions diversity as a tool for innovation and creativity

Work with HR to create a fair, transparent talent development system that is open to all employees and one that is free from (un)conscious biases

Work with HR and external partners to create a cultural mindset shift within the organisation that ensures that all colleagues, regardless of their background, feel valued

The BAME network will complement Cambridge Assessment's wider diversity and inclusion initiative, along with HR and the other staff networks.
