Association of University Administrators (AUA) at Durham University

The network at Durham aims to provide colleagues with opportunities for personal and professional development by keeping colleagues informed of current issues in higher education, creating opportunities for networking and sharing best practice.

The AUA currently has about 4500 members in total across the UK and internationally. There are currently 32 members at Durham University. Our members are drawn from all areas of support staff within Durham University, across the professional support services, departments and colleges.

The AUA Network exists to:

  • Promote the AUA, and the benefits of AUA membership, within the University;
  • Organise and host local events, activities and networking opportunities on a regular basis, which support members professional development;
  • Provide a forum for the dissemination of good practice;
  • Support colleagues understanding of the higher education sector;
  • Encourage members to make the most out of their AUA membership;
  • Provide a link to the AUA National Office;
  • Support the implementation and continuous development of the Realising Your Potential Approach and its links with the AUA CPD Framework;

The AUA Durham Network is part of the Yorkshire and North East Network.
