We’ve run our own Arup University for over twenty years, to ensure our people benefit from the latest ideas and skills. This ensures we stay relevant to our industry, producing the next generation of leaders and innovators in the built environment. The University offers courses, training modules, hosts visiting lecturers and speakers and coordinates a global programme of learning and development. It also provides a forum to explore new technical and design ideas, publishing our people’s research and insights for external audiences in academia and business. At Arup you are always learning.

Foresight, Research and Innovation is the Arup team that leads exploration and research into new ideas. The University also offers a wide variety of professional training programmes, ensuring our people can continue to learn throughout their careers. Its knowledge management function shares best practice across all five of our global regions.
