York St John University is a longstanding sponsor of York Pride, an annual celebration of the LGBT+ community. It is expected to attract its biggest crowd yet during a day of celebration on Saturday 8th June 2019.
It starts with a parade from York Minster (leaving approx. 11:45 am) to the Knavesmire, York Racecourse (arriving approx. 1:00 pm), where there will be a free family day filled with live music and entertainment on two stages, funfair, food and drink stalls plus local traders and charities.
