The third West Lothian Pride event will be taking place on Saturday 29 July 2017.
The purpose of the event is to provide the people of West Lothian with an opportunity to celebrate and support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people within our local community.
Come along to our Pride Village at West Lothian College, Livingston to soak up the carnival atmosphere and join us for a fun filled day of marching, guest speakers and live entertainment.
The pride village will be open from 1.00pm and you can browse the information stalls and stock up all Pride essentials (flags, whistles, garlands etc) prior to the march.
Programme of Events
- 1:45pm Rendezvous at college entrance gates to go through pre-march safety briefing
- 2:00pm March commences at the college main entrance and will pass through the town centre
- 2:45pm March arrives back at college for dignitary speeches and raising of the Rainbow flag
- 3:00pm Event entertainment commences
- 8:00pm Event closes
This is an outdoor open air event so please dress according to the weather conditions and please don't forget your sunscreen should the sun make an appearance.
Pride Village and the surrounding areas are alcohol free zones – please do not bring alcohol to the event.
The College Grounds are smoke free, please only smoke cigarettes and e-cigarettes in the designated smoking areas which are clearly signposted.

For health and safety purposes we are required to have an approximate number of attendees. Please register your attendance as this will ensure we can keep you updated with all our plans and we will have sufficient stewards and first aiders available.
Accessibility – Pride Village
- Disabled parking is located within the main car park close to the entrance
- All outdoor areas have level access
- Automatic doors, an accessible toilet and a lift are located within the main building
- A quiet/safe space will be provided
- Gender Neutral Toilets will be available
