Major players including Dame Mary Perkins (Specsavers), Nicky Dulieu (Hobbs) and Judith McKenna (Walmart)) have given their backing to the Specsavers everywoman in Retail Ambassador programme to highlight the breadth of opportunity within the sector and to encourage nominations from women working in all areas of retail, of all ages and from across the country. Every year, the Specsavers everywoman in Retail Ambassador programme celebrates role models who individually represent the best of female talent working in retail today. Collectively they give a comprehensive snapshot of what success looks like at all ages & stages of a career in retail, and across all divisions of the industry. The women awarded Retail Ambassador status at this annual ceremony will be profiled as exemplary role models – not just in retail, but the wider business community. Our Advisory Board comprises trade associations, networks and membership organisation that together represent the breadth of the retail industry.
