SKY - Women in Technology

Calling all women in tech! Join us for prosecco and canapés at our first networking event to celebrate women in tech. Held at our offices in West London, you’ll have the chance to hear from our experienced guest speakers, meet our technical teams, network with other tech ladies and hear what it’s like to work for Sky. As Sky grows and creates more job opportunities within tech, our aim is to empower and support women who work or aspire to work in this field, giving them the advice they need to achieve their career goals. Our guest speakers include:

• Kimberley Brown and Stephanie Holmes - Senior Analyst and Associate Developer at Sky, talking “How we do Agile”

• Hannah Eminton – Discussing graduate routes into Sky and the importance of diversity

Tube - The nearest Underground station is Osterley, on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line. Sky has a shuttle bus which will take you directly from the station to the event. We will also have a shuttle bus especially for the event picking up from Osterley at 6 15pm and 6 35pm, and dropping attendees back when the event has finished. Train – We’re located across the road from the Syon Lane train station. You can get to Syon Lane in less than 30 minutes from Waterloo, Vauxhall and Clapham. It’s also not far from Staines, Weybridge and Richmond if you’re coming from the West. Car – For Central London: Exit the M4 at junction 2. Continue on theA4/Great West Road for 1 mile. Sky is on the right hand side of the road. From Heathrow - Follow A4 towards Central London. For Sky 1-8 turn left at Syon Lane then take your first right onto Grant Way.
