Following on from the successful enei Race Equality Survey, this interactive Roundtable will explore existing best practice and the perceived barriers to successful BME recruitment, retention and progression. This event will explore strategies to recruit, retain and promote an ethnically diverse workforce and offers a unique opportunity for participants to hear success stories and contribute to an agenda which is returning to prominence following the Government’s consultation. We are pleased to announce guest speakers, Tina Mason, Associate Director, Diversity and Inclusiveness at EY and Roger Kline, Director, NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard, Engagement and Research.
The roundtable will include:
Findings of the enei Race Equality survey
Identifying the obstacles and opportunities for race equality
Best practice sharing and advice, case studies and discussion
This session will be run by Maxine Hurley, enei Lead on Race Equality and Workforce Representation. Maxine works in partnership with over 40 organisations in sectors such as Media, Local Authorities, Charities and Higher Education, assisting them to develop their diversity and inclusion focus.
