Generously hosted by

Business Disability Forum (BDF) is thrilled to release the first state of the nation report about the skills, confidence and practices that help retain and develop employees with disabilities across private, public and third sector employers in the UK. Working with BDF Partners de Poel Community,
EY,
Royal Mail,
Lloyds Banking Group, Department of Work and Pensions,
Equal Approach and
Remploy Employment Services, BDF has led a national research project engaging 145 employers.
Our Director of Policy, Services and Communications George Selvanera will share the findings. He'll also set out the practical actions that all employers can take to retain and develop their employees with disabilities.
George will be joined by employees sharing their experiences with disability-smart employers in technology and law. They will talk about what their employers did and the difference it made. We will also have
Equal Approach,
Lloyds Banking Group and EE share their learning about what practical actions they have taken to improve retention and development in their businesses.
Dawn Millman-Hurst, Equal Approach CEO will share learning about how to make good recruitment support good retention.
Lloyds Banking Group will share learning about how organisations can transform their workplace adjustment processes and in so doing, improve productivity, efficiency and morale while reducing costs and sickness absence.
Vicki Heaven, Retention Lead at EE, will share learning about how a personalised approach reduces staff turnover and helps retention and progression.
There will be a lot of time to ask your questions too. It's all very practical and evidence based about what works. It's a great chance to learn and network with other organisations.
