Organisations in the public, private and third sectors are being encouraged to support the first International Diversity Conference in the Isle of Man.
Yesterday a breakfast briefing was held at Dohle shipping in Fort Anne, Douglas, to explain the aims of the conference and why businesses should get involved.
Managing director of Global Management Consultancy John-Paul Nguegnag explained how the inaugural event would highlight issues relating to diversity on the island.
Organisations who attended included the Manx Rainbow Association, the Children's Centre, Ballakermeen High School, and Douglas Borough Council.
The event will be held at the Villa Marina, Douglas on 22 March at 8am.
