Enfield Council Jobs fair

Enfield Council is holding its 17th prestigious job fair at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London which will be open to anyone resident in Enfield who is currently looking for employment, training, apprenticeships or advice. Tuesday 31st March 2015 – 10.00am till 2.00pm Over 30 businesses will be in attendance including BT, London Waste, North Middlesex NHS Trust, REED, Tesco and many others all looking for employees; could you be one of them? The last two most recent job fairs attracted over 300 people, and many who came along were invited back for interviews, undertook training, gained more skills and ultimately got a job. Every employer who attended reported back saying they had gained between 15-20 applicants, and were very impressed with the quality of candidates. Cllr Alan Sitkin, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development said “Every single person in Enfield, regardless of age or work experience who is looking for employment, training, apprenticeships or advice should attend this fair. “Previous job fairs have reported back that both applicants and employers found the day rewarding, informative and a great tool to get a job. You owe it to yourself to go along.”
