Each year we hold Carers Rights Day to bring organisations across the UK together to help carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.
The next Carers Rights Day will be on Friday 24th November 2017. We'll be releasing more about how you can join in nearer the time but please share our 'Looking after someone' guide now. It's our guide for anyone caring for family or friends. The guide outlines your rights as a carer and gives an overview of the practical and financial support available.

Our last Carers Rights Day was held on the 25th of November 2016. We released new research about carers who are missing out on support. It showed that people often don’t see themselves as carers and aren’t identified and as a result miss out on vital practical and financial support with disastrous consequences for their own health and finances.
