We want the Belfast Pride Parade 2019 to be the biggest yet – making a clear statement in favour of Equality by exceeding the record 55,000 people who came out for change last year. We want to celebrate LGBT+ lives by keeping community at the heart of the parade and making it as inclusive as we can.
We are continuing to work with the Parades Commission to secure the necessary permit as the parade – like all parades here, is subject to parading law. The law on parades and the guidance from the Parades Commission have not changed since last year and there are no plans to change it.
