Aon: 'Time to talk'

Join us on Thursday 1 February for 'Time to Talk Day.' This day is organised by Time to Change and brings the nation together to get us talking and to break the silence around mental health.

Time to Talk Day isn't about forcing those who have experienced poor mental health to take the lead; it's about encouraging everyone to talk.

To celebrate Time to Talk Day, on 1 February, Aon’s Mental Health Group is hosting a webinar from 12:30pm-1:30pm, which consists of a discussion with four colleagues who previously shared their stories in our 'This is me' campaign. This discussion gives you the chance to hear more about the importance of storytelling and you'll also be able to ask your questions during a Q&A session.

Being open about mental health and challenging the underlying stigma surrounding it is important to Aon. The Mental Health Group, one of our seven business resource groups, has taken significant steps to help create an environment where all colleagues feel safe and able to talk openly.

The network's recent 'This Is Me' campaign saw seven colleagues from across the UK and Ireland bravely share their experiences in a video that aims to break down the stigma surrounding mental health. Watch the video and learn more about the 'This Is Me' campaign here.
