Since our launch in 2003, GatenbySanderson has built a people business with service as its core. We work with some of the UK’s most influential leaders responsible for shaping our communities, our national security and prosperity, our education, healthcare and charity to others. We are the only executive search and development business dedicated to public services. Our ambition remains to be at the heart of those things that matter most to society.

We are market leaders in five of our chosen markets and have pursued an active growth plan since launch. Our Leadership and Talent Consultancy practice has doubled its contribution in the last 12 months as well as being the sole provider of senior civil service talent assessment. In Executive Search, we continue to deliver year on year growth, establishing new markets and specialisms.

We have also made significant headway into newer markets like Housing and Higher Education, offering clients greater insight across sectors, board expertise and a ceaseless drive to deliver diversity in its broadest sense. Our Technology and Transformation practice has appointed some of the country’s leading technology experts to transform data, infrastructure and security across the public landscape.
