Five Talents sets up microfinance Savings Groups in marginalised communities in eastern Africa and beyond. Our Savings Groups provide tailored literacy and numeracy, financial and business skills to members so they can create small businesses, grow their income and support their families. Groups are community-owned and empower members to become decision-makers in their homes and communities. Our programmes unite communities to learn, earn, save and invest together to build resilience to emergencies and adversity.
People are at the heart of everything we do and strong relationships with our supporters, our partners and within our team are key to our success. We're a small, passionate, dedicated, dynamic and fun team, committed to high performance in our work because we all believe in our mission - and committed to working together, supporting one another and sharing ideas, successes and failures equally.
We are committed to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion and will ensure that all employees and programme members are treated equally and as individuals regardless of age, disability, ethnic or national origin, nationality, gender, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, political belief, race, religion or sexual orientation (the protected characteristics). We want our workforce to be representative of all sections of society and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.
We offer flexible working and proactively promote a healthy work-life balance.
