We are Domestic & General, and we are here to keep your world running. Founded over 100 years ago, we are proud to take care of our 16 million customers and their 23 million household appliances.

We provide appliance care throughout the home, so when something goes wrong, our customers can rely on us to get them back on track. We are proud to work with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Sky, Whirlpool and Argos.

We want Domestic & General to be known as an inclusive business where employees feel safe and supported to be themselves – whoever they are, and wherever they’re from. To support our ongoing commitment to Diversity & Inclusion, in June 2020 we called upon volunteers from across the business to join our first Diversity & Inclusion Committee and help lead our D&I strategy.

At D&G, we believe that speaking up about diversity and inclusion is an important part of accelerating change. In October 2020, we were one of the first businesses to confirm our commitment to the Change the Race Ratio campaign. This campaign was started by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), alongside well-known British companies, to increase racial and ethnic participation in British businesses.
