We can only create better outcomes with the right people behind us. That’s why we encourage an open, honest working environment where everyone can be themselves and be valued for their differences. We encourage everyone to bring their ‘whole self’ to work. Whoever you are, we want you to know that you can be yourself here.
We’re doing everything we can to support our employees’ needs. Whether that’s offering flexible working options to give a better work-life balance or developing a range of employee networks to offer a place for people to connect. We’ve signed the Armed Forces Covenant to support ex-service personnel looking for work and we’re committed to increasing female representation in our business.
Not only that but our employees’ wellbeing and mental health is extremely important to us. We really want to create a happier, more productive workforce, which is vital to our success. In order to achieve that we provide lots of support, including access to Employee Assistance Programmes, and our wellbeing hub, which give our people support with their mental, physical, social and financial wellbeing. We also have trained Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions across the business to offer help and advice whenever and wherever it’s needed.
Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of diverse and exciting projects while growing and developing your career in any number of directions.

Our purpose, “we create better outcomes” drives everything we do, including how we act, how we work with others, and what people can expect from us. We call our values ‘VOICE’:
Values
We are honest, transparent and respectful. We listen, welcome people’s differences, speak up and share information.
We think about what’s possible, seek ways to learn and challenge each other, and strive to keep improving.
We achieve more when we work together. So we ask for support, solve problems together and trust each other.
We care about doing the best job we can, design with people in mind and take responsibility from start to finish.
We encourage everyone to bring their whole self to work, because every one of us is unique and we value the differences everyone brings. No matter the background, we want everyone to be themselves at Capita.
As a large organisation, we want to make sure we create an inclusive culture that reflects the diversity around us – of our clients, their customers, our colleagues and the communities we work in. It’s how we’ll continue to invite fresh perspectives into our work, discover innovative ways to positively impact the world around us, and create better outcomes.
We already have a range of employee networks that represent every strand of diversity, to provide a place for people to connect and learn from each other, which anybody can get involved in. These include the Family Network, the Ability Network, Rainbow Alliance (LGBTQ+), Embrace (Race and Ethnicity) and the Multi-Faith Network. We’re also working to establish a Wellbeing Network and Gender Equality Network in 2021. These networks are led by our colleagues and supported by our executive committee to drive change and conversation across the business, as well as to mark important events, from Black History Month to Pride. We’ve also partnered with The Youth Group to understand the most effective ways of supporting young people currently out of work, whether that’s through employment, internships, mentoring or career development training.
On top of that, we have a range of initiatives around training and development to support our colleagues, including specific support for ex-military, reverse mentoring, and different flexible working options. Our colleagues have access to Employee Assistance Programmes, a wellbeing hub, as well as trained Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions. And as a response to Black Lives Matter, we’ve committed to ensure at least 15% of our workforce at all levels (including 5% black) are from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
