Our plan to advance equity and fairness

The social unrest of 2020 called us to look deeper into our business to see how we could accelerate fairness at Bechtel. Too many of our colleagues, partners, customers, and neighbors continued to experience racism, discrimination, and bias in their daily lives, their workplaces, and their communities.

We are approaching our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy with a new sense of urgency—not as an initiative, but for long-term sustainability, managing it with the same focus on results that we bring to our projects. We have organised our efforts into a three-pillar action plan.
