NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion Award 2019 - Gender Inclusion

The Tech industry has been the nerve center for transformation, embracing diversity in all its forms and colours. As an equal opportunity employer, the industry has set a bench mark for an inclusive society over the years, empowering marginalized communities. The journey that began from improving gender diversity ratios during the early 2000s (<20%) has gone on to impact other areas such as People with Disability (PwD), Generational diversity, among other, and has pivoted to make inclusion a business imperative. The 12th edition of NASSCOM Diversity & Inclusion Summit, attempts to take conversations beyond the basic realms of D&I to capture 360 degree inclusivity and bringing all ecosystems into picture. The summit will be a deep dive in the areas of PwD, Gender, LGBTI, Generation and Supplier diversity to develop a maturity index for the industry. The role of regulation, policy, governance and compliance along with company’s inbuilt initiatives, practices and program will emphasis on the direction of the industry towards inclusivity and will celebrate success. The focus will be on understanding the impact of inclusivity from an inside-out and outside-in global perspective.
