The Learning and Performance Institute Learning Awards recognises outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development.
The award categories are:
Presented to an enterprise that provides learning services to external clients.
Presented to a Learning and Development Team within a private or public sector organisation providing learning and development services to internal clients.
Presented to an internal training team that has undertaken a major learning and development project that is innovative in concept and has produced demonstrable performance improvement for the organisation.
Presented to a learning provider that has undertaken a major learning and development project for a client that is innovative in concept and has produced demonstrable performance improvement for the client.
Presented to an enterprise that has carried out a learning project using one or more learning technologies that demonstrates high quality and innovation – in terms of both content, delivery and instructional techniques – and that has made a demonstrable difference for the client and has a clear business impact.
Presented to an enterprise that has implemented a proactive People Development Programme for their employees – whether to a target group or enterprise-wide – that can show demonstrable business impact and performance improvement for the organisation.
Presented to an organisation that has built an exemplary and effective Onboarding Programme. Candidates should demonstrate consistent high quality and innovation as well as defined and measured impact on the organisation.
Open to any organisation that can demonstrate that they have made a unique and innovative contribution to the delivery of learning.
Presented to an enterprise that has implemented any kind of Apprenticeship Programme that can show demonstrable capability development for the organisation.
Presented to an enterprise that has delivered engagement, knowledge and/or skills using social media that demonstrates high quality and innovation – in terms of infrastructure, content and instructional techniques – and that has had a clearly demonstrable business impact on the organisation.
Presented to an outstanding learning leader who has made a real difference to both the learning operation in their workplace and the organisation as a whole in terms of impact and effectiveness.
Presented to an individual (employed or freelance) who has shown exceptional skills in learning and development.
Presented to an independent enterprise that is under three years old. This company has already made an impact on the sector and has a great future ahead of it. It is innovative and delivering high quality products or services and is recognised for its innovation. The company has had a clearly demonstrable business impact.
The Colin Corder Award is a special award presented to a person who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the learning profession. The award is by nomination only.
