Skip to main contentThe School Leaver Awards 2018: winners announced
The UK’s top employers for school leavers have been revealed, following the 2018 AllAboutSchoolLeavers Top 100 Employers for School and College Leavers Awards.
The awards saw organisations and individuals recognised across 36 categories including skills development, career progression, training and company culture, with winners decided by apprentices and school leaver trainees from 100 UK organisations.
At the awards, now in their sixth year, Bentley Motors was named Top Employer for School Leavers, while Verity Jackson, a mechanical engineering apprentice at DSTL, won the School Leaver of the Year award.
Young people working in the school leaver training world were asked to complete employee satisfaction surveys, covering every aspect of their working lives, from job satisfaction and career progression, to company culture and work-life balance.
Jack Denton, director and co-founder of AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk, said:
“Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s rankings, as well as to everyone who was shortlisted. We hope our annual awards continue to help young people make decisions about the future, and that the new categories – like our Top Employer in Media & the Arts and the Diversity & Inclusion awards – improve the guidance we can provide.”
