Today we’re celebrating International Transgender Day of Visibility with a few words from colleague Kayden Dann.
Kayden had come out as transgender before joining the team at Cheltenham Superstore in 2018, and after having an open conversation with their manager about the correct pronouns to use, they felt a great support from their team. This support continued in 2019 when Kayden started taking hormones and needed time off for surgery. Kayden was proud to receive a pronoun badge they could wear with their uniform and was delighted with the inclusivity they felt from Tesco.
