The National Diversity Awards 2017 Shortlisted Reed Smith

The National Diversity Awards are one of the largest diversity awards in the UK. They celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of those who have exhibited their commitment to improving inclusion, diversity and equality in today’s society.  

From more than twenty-two thousand nominations, Reed Smith has been shortlisted for the Diverse Company Award, alongside Gateshead College, RBS, NELFT NHS Foundation Trust, Wirral Change, West Yorkshire Police, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, Channel 4, Second Battalion the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment and Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.  

The Diverse Company Award recognises an organisation that employs a heterogeneous workforce and has a deeper understanding regarding the demographics of the marketplace that it serves. It also rewards those whose goals are to encourage and support people from the most deprived areas in boosting their careers.  

Reed Smith focuses its attention on not only attracting, but maintaining a quality diverse workforce. The company acknowledges the key role that is played by diversity and its innate ability to approach problems in various ways to find possible solutions for clients, innovative and enhance group performance.  

The winners are going to be announced on 8th September in a ceremony at Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool.
