Have you got the UK’s best “shoffice”? Enter our competition
Category: Aviva, Home Office, Flexible Working, Working from Home, remote working, competitions, workspace
If you’ve transformed a simple shed or outbuilding into a functional and fabulous home office — aka “shoffice” — let us know and you could win £250.
We’re on a mission to find the UK’s most spectacular shoffices
Perhaps you’re one of the thousands of people who switched to home working in lockdown. Or a long-term home-worker who’s known for years that — with a few tweaks — outbuildings can provide the perfect, peaceful home office space you need.
Regardless of when you did the work or how much you spent, we want to hear from you.
Our judge — property expert, podcast host and author Louisa Fletcher — is a pro when it comes to all things home improvement and will be looking for DIY skills, creativity, innovative design and overall usefulness of the conversion. Bonus points will be awarded for brilliant use of budget.
Go on, it’s time to show off your shoffice!
How to enter
Enter our Facebook competition by 1st June 2021 for a chance to win.
All you need to do is go to our Facebook page and share a photo of your shed-to-office transformation as a reply to Aviva’s best shoffice competition post.
The three best entries will each win a £250 voucher from their choice of either Amazon, B&Q, Ikea, John Lewis or Currys PC World, perfect for adding finishing touches to their workspace! They’ll also be featured on our website and social media.
About our judge, Louisa Fletcher
Louisa Fletcher is an accomplished property expert, author and podcast host with more than 20 years of professional experience in the property industry.

In parallel, she developed her professional career in the property industry and consequently, has worked with some of the largest estate agents, mortgage brokers, new home builders and property websites in the UK, as well as advising celebrities, sportspeople, high net worth individuals and even royal families on their property assets and portfolios.
Louisa’s book, Property Uncovered, provides expert advice for consumers on a range of property-related subjects including buying, selling, renting, letting, mortgages and renovating properties to add value.
To enter the competition, each shoffice must be a DIY project, such as a converted shed or garage, or a self-built development created by you. There are no date restrictions on when you built the shoffice, but you must send your entry by 5pm on 1st June 2021.
