The UK Parliament is holding a Recruitment Fair on Thursday 9th May 2019
In the historic Westminster Hall, people of all ages and backgrounds can discover more about careers in the House of Commons, House of Lords and Parliamentary Digital Service, and speak with our staff about current and future job opportunities.
There are thousands of people working in Parliament in a huge variety of roles, all of which play a vital part in ensuring that the UK Parliament runs effectively.
What makes Parliament’s apprenticeships different and exciting is the range of roles we have – everything from plumbing to accountancy, business administration to property maintenance, HR and much more..
“I thought I wouldn’t relate to the people I was working with, that I’d stick out like a sore thumb. It’s not been like that at all. Literally anyone you could think of – there’s someone working here like that. There are so many open-minded people, and even if it’s not someone who is directly working with you, you know where to find them. You know they’ll support you.”
REYCHELLE BAKER - DUTIES PLANNER, Business Administration apprentice.
