Pride in London 2016
As an organisation, we are leading the way for change across the engineering sector for combating homo/bi/trans-phobia in the workplace, on site and in educational establishments by working with companies and universities. We have a growing relationship with the UK Government and have been a key voice for championing change both from a grass-roots up and leadership-down approach.
Pride has played a pivotal role in advancing the rights of LGBT community and is now a celebration of the success of this achievement. But, there is still inequality across the world and so Pride will continue to have a place until we are all equal. The theme for 2016 is #NoFilter. Simply come along, and be yourself!
In the spirit of this, we would like to invite you to join us for the 2016 Pride in London parade! Since we formed, it has been a key goal for us to enter a walking group to represent the LGBT+ Engineering community. Through the kind support of leading engineering companies Balfour Beatty, SPIE and Amec Foster Wheeler, we have been able to secure space for a large contingent of LGBT+ engineers and supporters. So, come and join us!
Please register for a space to join the InterEngineering walking group. We will be in touch before the event for plans leading up to Pride and also for plans on the day.
