Yesterday, we were the 3,000th company to sign the Armed Forces Covenant - and we did it in the centenary year of the end of WWI.
This was signed by Paula Vennells, our CEO, and the Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson. This is a momentous occasion for Post Office Ltd and I'm so proud of all the work that our ex-forces colleagues have already done for the business, and I'm pleased to have been a part of it.
Paula said: “We know that having a diverse workforce brings huge benefits to a business; and our ex-Armed Forces colleagues and those in the Reserves are a unique and vital asset to the Post Office. We want to thank them for their service and to ensure that we continue to create a business in which everyone can thrive and develop as part of the Post Office team.”
