Situated within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team have a unique remit. From the historic, iconic Palace of Westminster, to the modern offices in Portcullis House, it takes more than 150 skilled staff to keep the Parliamentary Estate fully functioning.
The team have a crucial role to play in contributing to a thriving Parliamentary democracy, by maintaining the buildings, engineering systems and furnishings, ensuring a safe working environment for Members, Peers and staff of the House.
There are boundless opportunities within the team, due to the extraordinary breadth of activity and the challenge of maintaining a range of buildings. Whether you’re a school leaver looking to start a career within the maintenance industry, contemplating a total career change, or an experienced professional, there will be an opportunity waiting for you.
