Saarah Bunglawala- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Co-Ordinator
My role as the EDI Recruitment Coordinator is to promote Diversity and Inclusion throughout our Recruitment processes to ensure that we are attracting, recruiting and retaining the best talent at PA Housing. I’m relatively new in the role but plan to increase our presence across different communities to attract candidates from all walks of life and a widely diverse talent pool. I’ll also be reviewing our demographics as part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, to understand areas of focus such as underrepresented groups, so that we can continue to deliver a great service to our customers and communities. To ensure that our recruitment processes are fair, I will be working closely with hiring managers to understand the demographics of their current teams and applicants for their roles to promote diversity within our recruitment.
