Our CEO Morgan Lobb speaking at GSM London's Horizon Awards
On Wednesday 16th November, GSM London staff and students joined employers at the prestigious Goldsmith Centre to celebrate the achievement of GSM London’s Horizon Award-winning students. The Horizon Award is a new initiative by GSM, which aims to enable their students to enhance their skills and experiences, and ultimately their career prospects too.
In order to address the issue of graduates standing out against all other candidates for a role, GSM created the Horizon Award to highlight a student’s portfolio of skills and experiences above and beyond academic performance.
The event was a great success, with over 70 people coming together to network, share ideas and learn from one another. With the theme being diversity, there were many speakers at the event, including GSM’s Debi Hayes, Christy Traore and Bob Athwal; Liz Grant OBE, Director at Fantail Business Development; and our CEO Morgan Lobb.
The Awards were a great platform for GSM to showcase their diversity and what makes their students unique. Their strengths-led approach to education is all about recognising and realising the value of their own distinctiveness.
